Speaking of Bananas

Ever notice this past year all the advertising gimmicks Chiquita has had on their labels?
From funny nutritional or silly sayings to the faces they have now.

Perhaps you just eat your banana and toss (hopefully composting) the peel with total disregard for the sticker.

Perhaps you still peel the stickers off and stick them to your forehead like when you were a kid.
That's ok, you are not the only one.

Ever notice the sticker, be it Dole, Chiquita, or Del Monte that the bananas come from several countries out side the US?

Costa Rica
Guatemala
Honduras
Mexico
Nicaragua

are several I've noticed.

For months, a guy at work and I made a daily morning segment out of comparing/sharing our banana stickers - both bringing in ones we thought were different to what he had collected - him applying them to his monitor until it was completely encircled as if he had a banana sticker make-up mirror bulb-like thing going on. Another time I should have taken a pic, and didn't before he had to take them all off as the Big Cheeses were coming from the home office.

Fun happens when you make it.
